I completed my clinical training in Queensland before relocating to Tasmania to pursue a career in forensic mental health. Returning to South Australia, I combine my interest of forensics with clinical practice, where I enjoy helping adults who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, adjustment & trauma.
I have experience working in government and private settings, across inpatient and outpatient services.
I thrive on working alongside people with all sorts of background and experiences, aiming to provide collaborative & individualised care, in a nonjudgmental place, no matter your life experiences or complexity.
I have a creative background in music and the arts. I have worked and studied in regional areas across Australia, with an interest in supporting regional and farming communities. I enjoy thinking creatively and perhaps 'out of the box' solutions when previous efforts have maybe not gone to plan.
I draw from, CBT, DBT, CBT-Psychosis, ACT, and mindfulness skills to build understanding, skills, and shift unhelpful patterns and beliefes. I often work with people towards their goals which may include relapse prevention, resilience, and cognitive flexibility.
